Mandy Moore is getting real.
In fact, the This Is Us star just shared a candid pregnancy update a little less than a month after she announced she is expecting baby No. 3 with husband Taylor Goldsmith.
“Pregnancy melasma is the pits,” she wrote in a June 30 Instagram Story. “I heard @lymalife can help.”
In the pic, Mandy lays with her eyes closed as she rubs a Lyma Laser, a cosmetic skincare device, on her temple. The 40-year-old—who also shares sons Gus, 3, and Ozzie, 19 months, with Taylor—also dressed for self-care in a terry cloth headband and striped tank top.
Melasma, also known as the mask of pregnancy, is a skin condition that mostly consists of light brown, or sometimes blue-gray dots on the skin, that present similarly to freckles. Unfortunately for the timing of Mandy’s pregnancy, it can worsen in the summer months, according to Cleveland Clinic.
But while Mandy noted the annoying aspects of her summer pregnancy for her followers, she’s otherwise over the moon, having announced her family’s fourth member to followers through an adorable photo of her sons, even giving a shoutout to her fictional This Is Us family.
“Sometimes life imitates art,” she wrote in a May 31 Instagram post. “The third in our own Big Three coming soon. Can’t wait for these boys to have a baby sister.”
And while Mandy has admitted that parenthood is hard work, she has been open about her anticipation for a daughter. In fact, just last year she voiced her hopes to grow her now expanding family.
“Truth be told, I haven't shut the door on a larger family," she admitted to E! News in 2023. “I'm like, gosh darnit, I really want a girl.”
As Mandy prepares to enter her mom-of-three era, keep reading to see how she’s evolved over the years.
