"Dance Moms" is gearing up for a reunion.
JoJo Siwa and the Lifetime show's official account shared a joint Instagram post Wednesday announcing that some original cast members will return for a reunion special next year.
"You heard it here first," the post says. "The squad is officially back together for a #DanceMoms reunion coming 2024 only on @lifetimetv !!"
The announcement featured a mirror selfie of cast members all dolled up, including Chloé Lukasiak, Paige Hyland, Brooke Hyland, Siwa, Kendall Vertes and Kalani Hilliker.
Siwa, 20, said in the comments, "Everyone was invited today but only some wanted to be here," when asked about other former cast members absent from the photo, including Maddie Ziegler.
It is unclear if Abby Lee Miller, former "Dance Moms" coach, will be a part of the reunion. The founder of the Abby Lee Dance Company, 58, pleaded guilty in federal court in Pittsburgh in 2016 to charges of bankruptcy fraud and bringing $120,000 worth of Australian currency into the U.S. without reporting it.
She was sentenced to a year in a federal prison in Victorville, California, and was released in 2018 and transferred to a halfway house before her cancer diagnosis.
Miller later underwent treatment for Burkitt lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Miller attempted a spinoff of the show, "Abby’s Virtual Dance Off," but plans for the show were nixed by Lifetime in 2020 after former "Dance Moms" contestant Adriana Smith accused Miller on Instagram of addressing her and her daughter, Kamryn, with bigoted statements when she competed on Season 8, the show's final season.
