It's the most wonderful time of the year. And no, I'm not talking about Christmas.
The Girl Scouts of the USA announced Tuesday the launch of the 2024 national Girl Scout Cookie season.
The 2024 theme is "Unbox the Future," according to the organization, which aims to remove social barriers that often keeps girls boxed in.
Proceeds from each box sold stay with local troops and councils, which the GSUSA says "play a vital role in powering impactful experiences throughout the year, including service projects, troop travel, and even summer camp."
“Girls break expectations through the power of the cookie program and open a host of possibilities beyond the box,” said GSUSA chief revenue officer Wendy Lou in a news release announcing the launch of the cookie season.
Here's what you need to know about Girl Scout Cookies in 2024, including the cookie lineup and how to buy them.

How to purchase Girl Scout Cookies in 2024
If you know a registered Girl Scout, reach out to her to find out how she's selling cookies. If you do not know a Girl Scout, you can check with your local council or use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder to find a booth near you.
Local start dates for cookie sales are dependent on local councils, meaning the easiest way to figure out when they go on sale in your area would be to use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder.
Beginning Feb. 16, customers who do not know a Girl Scout will also be able to purchase cookies to be shipped directly to their homes by entering their zip code into the Girl Scout Cookie Finder, according to the Girls Scouts.

The Girl Scouts of the USA announced in October the Raspberry Rally cookie will not be sold during the 2024 cookie season, which runs from January to April.
“While Raspberry Rally was extremely popular last year, we are taking a pause this season to prioritize supplying our classic varieties,” Girl Scouts of the USA told CNN in October.
Are any Girl Scout Cookies gluten free, vegan, kosher or halal?
According to the Girl Scouts website, Toffee-tastic and Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies are gluten free.
Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Lemonades and Toast-Yay! cookies are vegan, while every flavor variety is kosher and Halal certified, according to the GSUSA.
Why do some Girl Scout cookies look the same but have different names?
According to the GSUSA, each Girl Scout council contracts with one of two licensed bakers, whose recipes and ingredients may differ slightly: ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers.
You can contact your local Girl Scout council to find out which cookies are available in your area.
